Your Pesto box contains two servings of sauce. Please follow the serving and preservation instructions for the best Pasta Sisters experience at home.
BEFORE YOU START
Pesto is a raw sauce, do not heat or cook on the stove.
If your pesto sauce is frozen let it defrost overnight in the refrigerator.
Our pesto sauce is less oily then usual pesto and it has the consistency of a paste. Transfer pesto in a bowl large enough to fit 2 portions of pasta. Add a tablespoon of pasta water at the time and stir until desired/creamy consistency is achieved.
Add pasta to the sauce in the bowl. Stir vigorously to bond pasta and sauce.
** Pesto is a tasty sauce with plenty of parmigiano and pecorino cheese. We highly recommend to not add any extra cheese when serving.
Keep it refrigerated and use or freeze before the date indicated on the container.
If you purchase our sauce from Locale you won't find an expiration date sticker because the product was flash frozen right after it was made. Keep it in the freezer until you are ready to cook or keep it in the refrigerator and use it within 5 days.
