Your Bolognese box contains two servings of sauce. Please follow the heating, serving and preservation instructions for the best Pasta Sisters experience at home.
Heat the Bolognese sauce over medium heat in a sauté pan large enough to fit 2 portions of pasta. When happy bubbles form on top, turn off the heat.
We think that butter makes it better! If you agree with us, add a knob of butter and let it melt gently into the sauce. If you prefer a lighter sauce skip this step.
Add strained pasta to the sauce and heat over medium to high heat. Stir vigorously or flip it until pasta and sauce are perfectly bounded together.
** When cooking frozen sauce we recommend heating the sauce over low heat to slowly defrost the sauce. Switch to medium heat only when sauce is completely defrosted.
Keep it refrigerated and use or freeze before the date indicated on the container.
If you purchase our sauce from Locale you won't find an expiration date sticker because the product was flash frozen right after it was made. Keep it in the freezer until you are ready to use or keep it in the refrigerator and use it within 5 days.
